The professional vocal ensemble sirventes berlin exists since 2003. Stefan Schuck founded the ensemble in 2003 to perform the world premiere of the a cappella cantata "that they may live" by the Jewish composer Josef Dorfman as part of the Ecumenical Kirchentag in Berlin.

Since 2008 the ensemble works regulary for the NoonSong. The outstanding quality of the ensemble results from this intense regular work.

sirventes berlin gave a lot of enthusiastic recorded concerts, ia. at the Festival  Brixener Initative Musik und Kirche, at the a cappella festival in Abu Gosh, Israel and throughout Germany.
